Remake of the classic Lladro chess set (01006333 Medieval Chess Set), created in the 80's. The inspiration of the pieces refers to the middle ages style, as recalling the real origins and start points of this game in the western world. White and black porcelain, non glazed; the black team is not gres but porcelain in a dark color. Platinum luster in shiny and matte finish. Base of the pieces is protected with a felt cover, for smooth moves. The chessboard is a special non breakable thick glass with polished edges measuring 21.26 inches x 21.26 inches. 5 1/2" in height.
