Lladró launched this special commemorative piece coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the death of Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948). The sculpture is an excellent likeness of the great political leader and thinker, frequently referred to as described as the "Father of the Indian nation". Lladró's artists show the non-violence leader walking, in a tribute to a thinker who never ceased to tread the road to peace.
